The Shorelands Preserve seems to be the hot spot this year. I've been out there several times and it never ceases to amaze me with its serene, yet constantly changing beauty. I couldn't believe how much greener it was since my previous visit.
This is the second time I have had the privilege of working with this sweet family. Last time it was snowing and cold prompting us to shoot indoors. It was one of my favorite sessions, but I think this location was a nice change of pace for them. The father of the family is not a big fan of cold weather, so I am sure he considered this a significant improvement.
There is nothing in this world quite like a sister. While we were moving from one location to another, the younger one asked her sister who her best friend was. She replied, without hesitation, "You are my best friend in the whole world." It was very sweet.
See what I mean? It was just so green. The light was perfect and it was a beautiful evening for photography.
He has to spend a lot of times overseas for work, so these moments are very important to them. They seem to genuinely enjoy being together and I love listening to them communicate with one another, sometimes in more than one language.
She said, "I can see myself reflected in your eyes." It made my heart melt, and I almost felt like I was intruding on a personal moment.
We wrapped the evening up with a few shots of the oldest and her friend. It was a fun evening with a fun family. I really appreciate my repeat clients and their faith in me.
